The nation’s 250th anniversary presents a rare opportunity to reflect on the ideas that continue to shape American democracy. In advance of this milestone, the Harry S. Truman Presidential Library and Museum and the Truman Library Institute selected DMH to support its America250 campaign, a major initiative leading into 2026.
DMH is partnering with the Truman Library Institute to lead an integrated campaign –, bringing strategy, research, creative and media together to help drive awareness and attendance during a highly competitive moment for Kansas City. The work connects the legacy of the Truman Library to the founding ideals of equality, liberty, freedom, and democracy, while building momentum for the upcoming exhibition, The Story of US. Launching in April 2026, the exhibition will bring historically significant documents from the National Archives to the Truman Library in Independence, Missouri, offering visitors a rare look at defining moments in the American experiment.
“These extraordinary documents are rarely seen, yet their ideals remain essential,” said David Martin, Director of Client Partnerships at DMH. “Our work brings them into public view in a way that feels timely, meaningful, and enduring.”
This campaign is not just about attendance. It is about connection, context, and reminding people why these stories still matter.
